Reclimatize.in is an independent, India-focused analytical platform publishing research on industrial decarbonisation economics. The platform produces original analysis of how carbon regulations, energy market developments, and geopolitical disruptions are reshaping the production economics, competitive positioning, and capital allocation decisions of India’s energy-intensive industries. All content is based exclusively on publicly available information and is independently interpreted.
Reclimatize.in is not a consulting firm, not a financial advisory service, and not a media outlet. It is a research platform. The distinction matters for how the content should be read and relied upon — and the Disclaimer sets out those limits in full.
Primary-source regulatory research translated into sector-specific financial and competitive intelligence
Reclimatize.in reads Official Gazette notifications, EU implementing regulations, CEA publications, BEE scheme documents, and CERC orders — and translates what they mean for production economics, compliance costs, and capital decisions within each of the five covered sectors. This is not summarisation of secondary analysis. It is independent interpretation of primary regulatory material, sourced and linked to the authoritative original in every article.
The analytical framework is consistent across all five sectors: policy monitoring from the gazette, energy and tariff analysis at the state level rather than national averages, carbon cost calculation using live EU ETS and IEX CCC prices against verified emission intensities, and strategic implication analysis connecting regulation to capital allocation. Every article moves from information to decision — not from notification to summary.
Primary sources only, linked in every article
Every data point is traced to the Official Gazette, EU implementing regulation, CEA publication, or primary ministry notification. Where a data point cannot be sourced to a primary document, it is not published. All sources are hyperlinked in the article body or sources section.
Actual certificate costs, not indicative ranges
CBAM certificate costs are calculated using live EU ETS prices and verified emission intensities — not industry averages or indicative ranges. CCTS GEI compliance costs are calculated using plant-level Official Gazette targets and IEX CCC market prices. Numbers are specific enough for a CFO to take into a board review.
State-by-state, not national averages
Open access landed electricity costs differ by Rs 1.50 to 2.00 per unit between the best and worst states for industrial renewable procurement. Analysis is conducted at the state level because that is where investment decisions are actually made — not at the level of national policy averages.
Information to decision, not notification to summary
Every article on this platform converts regulation into financial or competitive consequence. We do not publish notifications reformatted as articles. We publish analysis of what regulatory changes mean for production cost, compliance exposure, and competitive positioning within each covered sector.
Reclimatize.in currently publishes research across five industrial sectors and two cross-sector regulatory clusters:
Coverage will expand to additional sectors and regulatory areas as the platform develops. The Research Library at reclimatize.in/research contains the full catalogue of published articles, organised by sector and cluster.
